Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Roll Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp salt

1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

For the Cinnamon Roll Filling:

½ cup brown sugar, packed

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Strawberry Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

      - Add the melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, and whisk until combined.

        - Gradually mix in the flour and salt. Knead the dough by hand or with a stand mixer until it becomes smooth and elastic (about 5-7 minutes).

          - Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

            Prepare the Fillings:

              - In a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter for the filling, set aside.

                - In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

                  Assemble the Rolls:

                    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

                      - Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 16x24 inches.

                        - Spread the cinnamon filling evenly across the dough, then spread the strawberry cheesecake filling over the top.

                          - Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in the greased baking dish.

                            Second Rise:

                              - Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again in a warm area for about 30 minutes.

                                Bake the Rolls:

                                  - Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

                                    Prepare the Glaze:

                                      - While the rolls are baking, whisk together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more milk for a drizzle if needed.

                                        Glaze and Serve:

                                          - Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze generously over the warm rolls and serve.

Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 2 hr | Servings: 12 rolls
