Peaches are one of summer’s sweetest gifts, bursting with flavor and juiciness. Their vibrant color and fragrant aroma make them a delightful addition to various dishes, from salads to desserts. Not only do they taste amazing, but peaches are also packed with nutrients. They are an excellent source of vitamins A and C, which support healthy skin and immune function, respectively. Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup fresh peaches, diced (or 1 cup canned peaches, drained)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

3 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp flour (for dusting)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Gently fold in the diced peaches until well combined.

Roll Out the Dough: On a clean, lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforations.

Fill the Dough: Place about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the peach cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough from the wide end to the point, making sure to tuck in the sides as you roll to keep the filling inside.

Prepare for Baking: Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash, then brush it over the tops of the crescent rolls for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm for the best flavor!
