One-Pan Cheesy Beef and Broccoli Casserole

1 pound ground beef

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup uncooked rice (white or brown)

2 cups beef broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade equivalent)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Sauté the Beef: In a large oven-safe skillet or pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

      Cook the Ground Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef, and season it with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

        Add Ingredients: Stir in the rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, and broccoli florets. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

          Bake the Casserole: Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the rice is tender and absorbs most of the liquid.
