Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz egg noodles

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, grated

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper (any color), sliced

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Aromatics and Vegetables: Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced onion, and bell pepper to the skillet with the ground beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables have softened.

Combine with Noodles and Sauce: Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, followed by the prepared sauce. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated in the sauce and heated through (about 2-3 minutes).

Season to Taste: Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper as needed.

Serve and Garnish: Divide the Mongolian ground beef noodles among serving plates. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
