Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)

1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Glaze: In a medium bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coat the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Generously brush the maple glaze over the tops of each fillet.

Add Pecans: Sprinkle the finely chopped pecans evenly over the salmon, pressing gently to ensure they stick to the glaze.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Broil for Finish (Optional): For an extra crispy pecan topping, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Serve: Carefully remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the salmon.

Enjoy: Pair this delectable dish with steamed veggies or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
