Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

8 small slider buns

4 slices cheddar cheese, halved (optional)

Lettuce leaves, for garnish

Sliced tomatoes, for topping

Pickles, for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, diced red bell pepper, chopped green onions, and minced garlic.

Make the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard and honey. Reserve 2 tablespoons for later; mix the rest into the turkey mixture.

Season the Mixture: Add smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the turkey mixture. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form the Patties: Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

Cook the Patties: Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). If using cheese, place half a slice on each slider during the last minute of cooking so it melts.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on another skillet or under a broiler until golden.

Assemble the Sliders: Spread the reserved honey mustard mixture on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the turkey patty, a slice of tomato, and a pickle. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve these sliders warm with a side of baked sweet potato fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
