Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snap peas

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon cooking oil (canola or vegetable)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat

Optional: Cooked brown rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions

Prep Your Ingredients: Wash and chop all vegetables. Mince the garlic and ginger, and set aside.

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

Heat the Pan: Preheat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the cooking oil and sesame oil, swirling to coat the surface.

Cook the Beef: Add the marinated ground beef to the hot skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Sauté Aromatics: Add minced ginger and garlic to the skillet, stirring constantly for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Vegetables: Toss in the broccoli, red bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry the mixture for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Season and Serve: Stir in chopped green onions, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Plate and Enjoy: Serve hot over a bed of cooked brown rice or quinoa for a complete meal. Garnish with extra green onions if desired.
