Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 mini slider buns

Fresh arugula or spinach

Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

Marinate the Cherries: In a small bowl, combine the halved cherries and balsamic vinegar. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes to infuse the flavor.

Prepare the Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey) with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

Grill the Patties: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly oil the grill grates. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Grill the Cherries: While the patties are cooking, place the marinated cherries directly onto the grill, cut side down. Grill for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly charred and caramelized.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Spread: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with honey until well blended. This will add a creamy and sweet element to your sliders.

Assemble the Sliders: To assemble, spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom half of each slider bun. Place a grilled patty on top, followed by a spoonful of the grilled cherries, and a handful of fresh arugula. Top it off with the other half of the slider bun.

Serve: Serve the sliders warm and enjoy the delightful combination of grilled cherries and savory beef.
