8 oz (225g) fresh ramen noodles or any preferred noodles

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, thinly sliced

5 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon mirin (or rice vinegar)

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles:

    - Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente (usually about 3-4 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.

      Prepare the Steak Marinade:

        - In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the sliced steak to the bowl and let it marinate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the garlic butter.

          Make Garlic Butter:

            - In a large skillet or wok, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

              Cook the Steak:

                - Increase the heat to high. Remove the steak from the marinade (discard excess marinade), and add it to the skillet. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

                  Combine Ingredients:

                    - In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and sesame oil. Once melted, toss in the cooked noodles and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes to evenly coat the noodles with the buttery garlic sauce.

                      Finish with Steak:

                        - Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss all ingredients until well combined and heated through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
