To create the creamy and smooth yogurt layer that serves as the heart of your Frozen Yogurt Cinnamon Bun Bars, start by selecting a high-quality yogurt. Greek yogurt is a fantastic option because of its thick consistency and tangy flavor, which perfectly complements the sweetness of the cinnamon bun base. 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted

For the Yogurt Layer:

1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Topping:

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Additional ground cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions

Prepare the Base:

    - In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

      - Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a lined 9x13 inch baking dish. Use a spatula to flatten it out neatly.

        Make the Cinnamon Swirl:

          - In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted coconut oil until it has a paste-like consistency.

            - Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the oat base. Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl it into the base without fully mixing it.

              Prepare the Yogurt Layer:

                - In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

                  - Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the cinnamon-swirled oat base.

                    Add the Topping:

                      - Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the yogurt layer if using, and finish with a light dusting of ground cinnamon for extra flavor.

                        Freeze:

                          - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

                            Serve:

                              - Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let it sit for about 5 minutes before cutting into bars. This makes slicing easier.

                                - Cut into squares or rectangles and serve immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
