Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup crushed walnuts or almonds (optional)

Parchment paper or silicone baking mat

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. Set aside.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed and smooth.

Coat Banana Slices: Dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture, ensuring they are completely coated. Use a spoon to help if needed.

Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle mini dark chocolate chips and crushed walnuts or almonds on top of each yogurt-coated banana slice, pressing them gently to help them stick.

Freeze: Place the coated banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet or silicone baking mat, making sure they are not touching. Freeze for at least 1-2 hours or until completely solid.

Serve and Enjoy: Once frozen, remove the banana bites from the tray. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for a quick, healthy treat!
