Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)

2 cups ice cubes

1 cup cold water

Lemon slices and fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: Begin by rinsing the fresh strawberries under cool water. Hull and slice them, then place them in a blender.

Juicing Lemons: Squeeze the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. Remove any seeds and set aside.

Blend Ingredients: Add the sliced strawberries, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cold water to the blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.

Chill and Freeze: Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more sugar. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.

Add Ice: Gradually add the ice cubes to the blender, blending after each addition until the mixture is frosty and slushy in texture.

Serve Immediately: Pour the frozen strawberry lemonade into chilled glasses, making sure to scoop out any bits of fruit left in the blender.

Garnish: Optionally, garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a fresh strawberry for a vibrant presentation.
