Ingredients

2 large ripe bananas

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

1/2 cup granola or crushed nuts (for coating)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

Prep the Fruit: Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Hull and slice the strawberries thinly.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Bites: On a plate or cutting board, place half of the banana slices. Add a slice of strawberry on top of each banana slice, followed by a dollop of the yogurt mixture. Top with another banana slice to create a mini sandwich.

Coat the Bites: Roll each completed bite in granola or crushed nuts for a crunchy finish. Ensure each side is coated evenly.

Freeze: Place the assembled bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.

Chocolate Drizzle (optional): If using, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Once the bites are frozen, drizzle the melted chocolate over them using a fork or piping bag for a decorative touch.

Serve: Enjoy straight from the freezer or let them sit for a few minutes before biting into them for a softer texture.
