Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb ground beef (80% lean)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup sour cream

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken. Then, add the grated Parmesan cheese and sour cream, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Season: Mix in the Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy beef Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes over low heat to warm through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
