Ingredients

3 medium cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

Fresh dill sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Cucumbers: Start by laying the sliced cucumbers in a colander and sprinkle them lightly with salt. Let them sit for about 15-20 minutes to draw out excess moisture. Afterward, pat the cucumbers dry with paper towels.

Make the Dressing: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

Combine Ingredients: Add the sliced cucumbers and chopped red onion to the bowl with the dressing. Gently fold the cucumbers and onion into the dressing until they are fully coated.

Chill: Cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and enhances the creaminess.

Serve: When ready to serve, give the salad a gentle stir, taste, and adjust salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh dill sprigs on top before serving.
