12 oz (340 g) penne pasta

2 cups (300 g) broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

3 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain the pasta and broccoli and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté until cooked through and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until smooth and creamy.

        Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken and drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.

          Serve It Up: Once heated through, remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately, spooning the creamy chicken and broccoli pasta into bowls.
