Ingredients

2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1 cup maple syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and remove the icing packets. Cut each roll into quarters and place the pieces in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a separate large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until fully combined.

Combine: Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces in the mixing bowl. Gently fold to ensure all the rolls are coated.

Add Pecans: If using, add the chopped pecans into the cinnamon roll mixture and gently mix.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the cinnamon roll mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed up and golden brown on top. Check doneness with a toothpick—it should come out clean.

Drizzle with Icing: While the casserole is baking, warm the reserved icing packets in a small bowl. Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the icing over the top.

Serve: Allow the casserole to cool slightly for about 10 minutes before serving warm. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.

Enjoy: Slice into squares, serve on a plate, and enjoy this delightful breakfast treat!
