4 ripe kiwis

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or your preferred chocolate)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for a smoother melt)

Sea salt (optional, for garnish)

Parchment paper (for cooling)

Instructions
 

Prep the Kiwis: Peel the kiwis and cut them into 1/2-inch thick rounds. You should get about 5-6 slices from each kiwi.

    Freeze the Kiwi Slices: Arrange the kiwi slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours or until the kiwis are completely frozen.

      Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

        Dip the Kiwi: Remove the frozen kiwi slices from the freezer. One by one, dip each slice halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off.

          Add Sea Salt: Place the dipped kiwi slice back on the parchment paper and sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top if desired. Repeat with all the kiwi slices.

            Final Freeze: Once all the slices are dipped and garnished, return the baking sheet to the freezer for at least an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
