Ingredients

4 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced into rounds

1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)

Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

Sprinkles or crushed nuts (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

Prepare the Kiwi: After peeling and slicing the kiwis, place the kiwi rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are spaced apart to prevent sticking. Freeze the kiwi slices for about 1-2 hours, until they are firm.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Dip the Kiwi: Once the kiwi slices are fully frozen, take them out of the freezer. Using a fork, dip each kiwi round into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.

Add Toppings: If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of the chocolate-dipped kiwi or add decorative sprinkles or crushed nuts while the chocolate is still wet.

Chill Again: Place the chocolate-dipped kiwi rounds back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Return to the freezer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

Serve: Once the chocolate is firm, transfer the kiwi delights to a serving platter. Enjoy immediately for a refreshing treat, or keep them in an airtight container in the freezer for later.
