Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Cauliflower: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and blanch for about 5 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Brown the Turkey: Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Create the Cheese Sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chicken broth, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.

Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked turkey mixture, blanched cauliflower, and cheese sauce. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly and then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the bake from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
