Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Make the Herb Crust Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are blended into a creamy paste.

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.

Spread the Mixture: Evenly spread the mayo and Parmesan herb mixture over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring that the crust covers the fish completely for maximum flavor.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The crust should be golden and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
