4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup homemade or store-bought basil pesto

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.

    Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper. This step enhances the flavor of the chicken.

      Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. This step adds a nice depth of flavor.
