Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or spinach for added nutrition)

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

8 slices turkey breast (deli-style)

8 slices Swiss cheese (or your cheese of choice)

1 cup baby spinach or mixed greens

1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Spread: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well blended.

Assemble the Tortilla: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer the Ingredients: Place 2 slices of turkey breast in a single layer over the cream cheese. Follow with 2 slices of Swiss cheese, a handful of baby spinach or mixed greens, and a sprinkle of finely chopped red bell pepper. Add black olives if using, for an extra burst of flavor.

Roll it Up: Carefully roll the tortilla away from you, starting at the edge closest to you and rolling tightly towards the other side. Try to keep all the fillings inside as you roll.

Chill: Once rolled, wrap the pinwheel in plastic wrap or parchment paper to hold it together. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas and ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and for easier slicing.

Slice and Serve: After chilling, remove the pinwheels from the refrigerator. Use a sharp knife to slice each roll into 1 to 1.5-inch wide pinwheels. Arrange on a platter and serve. Enjoy as a nutritious snack or a fun lunchbox addition!
